Mosque Interior

Inside, each of the five aisles have two contiguous bays except at ends where a low wall divides the aisle. Several features unique to Bengali Islamic architecture have already become standard here such as a dome above each prayer bay inside the mosque, a single prayer chamber without an interior open courtyard (unsuitable for the rainy weather) and the lack of minarets.
